Zest Sussex is a community interest company which supports & trains adults with learning disabilities & austism to deliver a professional car valet service giving them more opportunities to be more independent and gain employment.
We support and encourage every person at Zest to reach their potential which helps to increase and develop their confidence, self-worth, state of mind and skill set.
The importance of getting to work, having a job, being part of the workplace and working within a team are things we all take for granted. The project works with adults from across Sussex both on a one to one basis and within a team environment to learn work place and social skills.
Our main aim is to teach the skills and behaviour required for the workplace and to help and support with the step and transition into paid employment whether on a part or full time basis with a true focus in independence and wellbeing.
All of this is centred around a car valeting business model and project.
The project is based at County Hall in Lewes and Zest delivers a professional car valet service to the local community. You will find us upon for business every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday in the Councillors car park at County Hall, St Anne's Crescent, Lewes (Wednesdays is training day and closed to customers for valeting).
We take car valet bookings in advance and the valet is Eco-friendly, virtually waterless, very competitively priced and carried out to an extremely high standard. Our aim is to have your car looking like it has just left the showroom.
The Zest team are proud to say that they take their time to make sure your car has that "wow" factor.
